Max and Vanessa fly south
for the winter! We're leaving Portland, OR in late November
to catch 3 months of summer inEcuador, Peru, Uruguay,
Argentina, Chile, and then north
to Mexico. We will be students
of the South American language, history, and culture.

What a spectacular photo!! Hope you got some shots of you two together with that in the background, for your future Hall of Great Moments. "Here we are in the Grand Canyon. Here we are at the Falls. Ah, yes, and Machu Picchu... It was lovely." Your friends will hate you, of course, but someday when you're loading up the minivan and heading for a big night out at Chuck-E-Cheese, you'll look back at those photos fondly and be SO glad you made these trips! Mom
THERE you are! Been missing the pics and the news. Yes, this stay-at-home mom IS living vicariously through you, tee hee - although I DID just get back from a good pull of the kids along a super xc trail. Don't you MISS the winter?? Ahhh, I could use a sandy beach. :) Loves to you both.
